De Ridder is een goede speler, maar hij past gewoon niet goed in het spel van Birmingham. Het is een speler die nog hoger kan, Aston Villa ofzo lijkt mij een goede club voor hem. Succes de Ridder!

I can see De Ridder going somewhere like Spurs, Pompey or West Ham and being a big hit.

Effectively saying that he was too good to play for us will then sound like a poor excuse for managerial stubboness.

If we go down it won't be because the squad was not good enough its because the squad was not used properly. The manager picks the team and the tactics.

DDR is a very skillful winger. Larsson has been excellent but surely he could be moved into the centre and a genuine winger with pace in DDR played on the right.

Eck can only play with 2 defensive midfielders because he is clueless on tactics. It's obvious the tactics aren't working and with Eck unfortunately there's no plan B.

De Ridder has to start in front of McSheffrey on Saturday, him running at Melchiot will cause them all sorts of problems, he has been our best player for weeks in the reserves but still gets no look in.
