Hello everyone, well its been about 18 months since I brought my XJC (see 11/2009 in guestbook). The car is now finally MOTY'd tax'd and insured. I fitted the supercharged engine and manual box as planned. It still needs loads of sorting out but that can be done as and when I have time (and money). The Broadspeed kit is awesome when you actually see the car - pictures really dont do the extra width justice!!!! Hopefully it will be in readers cars soon.

Love your web site!!
I own an 02 XJR that I've had a little over a year and love it. Am in the process of restoring a 1976 XJ-12 4-door that has less than 35,000 miles on the odometer and is mechanically sound with a smooth running engine,
although needs paint and much detail work. I have too many other projects that I need to tend to, but am in love with Jaguar cars and have my eye on a Series II XJC (wishfull thinking!). I have always admired Broadspeed racers and think you have the ultimate Jag.
Will visit often!

Hoi Mitch,

How are you doing and how is the Broadspeed coming on? You bought my TWR kit which i brought for you from London. If you need any more parts shipping from the UK ;¬)let me know. Coming over next weekend with 7 gearboxes and complete massive metal rear wing for I think an old Granada Coupe.
Could not believe youmanaged to fir the 5 TWR alloys and spoiler kit in your DAF Turbo coupe ;¬)
Good luck with the Broadspeed and look forward seeing the finnished product. If I win the Euromillions I will make you an offer you can't refuse. All the best.

Richard

Hi there just found your web site
A few weeks ago I went to see the Broadspeed
that has just been rebuilt by Mike Wilkinson & it had just done its first race, Nigel Thorley took plenty of photographs for an article he is going to write.

I saw & met Bob Kerr many times with his Broadspeed in the mid 80's up in Scotland.
I understand his car was refered to as the
BITSA ie made from bits & pieces not a real car,

Hello everyone, I have taken the plunge and purchased a XJC with a Broadspeed Kit already fitted. It has no engine or box but I plan to fit an AJ16 XJR engine & manual box which I already have. This is my 2nd coupe, the 1st fitted with the AJ16 4.0 supercharged engine. This was a FAST car so hopefully the extra width of the Broadspeed will improve the handling. I will post some pictures soon. Any advice would be much appreciated. Hope all your projects are going well. Paul.

Hi there,
well love to see cars like these coming along well.
I have spent a lot of time with No. 1 or better
the rebuild of the car.
So I can really understand what it means to bring an old lady like this back to the track.

Good Luck

Andy
