Love your web site. I too share the same interests, although I am a retired Fire Inspector. I do not like to name drop, but some of the astronomers (both professional and amateur) who I am in regular contact with include Jim Scotti, Alan Hale, Tom Bopp, Howard Brewington and of course David Levy and Wayne Johnson. My only discoveries to date are SN1991i in M51 and fragment B of P/Machholz 2. I have discovered two asteroids using telescopes and ccd cameras, but unfortunately clouds prevented me from a follow up and they were subsequently lost (found several years later by other astronomers).
I am also an avid collector of meteorites as well as painting historic meteorite falls. Some of my paintings are on Michael Bloods web site. Currently I am doing a painting for another collector of L'aigle, France that fell in 1803. He has in his collection, perhaps the largest piece of L'aigle in private hands (277 grams). Check out his web site at fallingrocks.com, I think you will enjoy it and also there is a photo of me somewhere on his site.
Keep up the good work on your discoveries.
Clear skies,

Hoi Marco,
Tineke verwees in haar Groentje naar jouw macrofoto's. Erg fraai! Niet te geloven dat je dat met een compactcamera doet. Ik verwijs vragenstellers nog regelmatig naar je meteorietenpagina, maar had al een tijdje niet meer op je andere pagina's gekeken. Je hebt niet stil gezeten.
Hartelijke groeten, Edwin
Congratulations to you for your website and especially for your page concerning the handaxe industry. It is a very complete and interesting one...even for a French visitor!
