I agree with all of the previous postings. The apartment was very nice with a wonderful garden. Liesbeth was so nice and very good with any questions I had. I would never stay in a hotel in Amsterdam after spending the week in this apartment. We loved that the apartment was right on the canal and everything was very close.

What a great surprise this canal house was, after spending many nights in cramped hotels across Europe. Lots of space, well equipped, and a lovely little sitting area outside where we spent most of our time. We really couldn't have asked for more. 100% privacy, and friendliness when we needed information. Thank you so much
We couldn't agree more with previous guests about this studio apartment. It is indeed, everything the owner, Liesbeth claims it to be. It is very clean and well equiped for cooking your own meals. The garden outside our bedroom was delightful, even in early spring. We enjoyed quiet and privacy, but Liesbeth was very helpful in recommending places to visit and how to get around. She has an extensive library of books,maps and brochures on Amsterdam, which were very useful in planning our days. We found we could walk to everything in which we were interested. Don't miss the Van Gogh Museum or the Anne Frank House. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
We just spent two weeks in this wonderful apartment and we cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Amsterdam.
The location is absolutely the best--in a quiet neighborhood with convenient shops nearby. You are away from the tourist crowds, but close enough to walk to most museums and other attractions. With the nearby tram stops, you can be out your door to the Central Station and on a train to other towns within less than 30 minutes! The very modern kitchen appliances made cooking a joy, and we especially loved the convenience of having a washing machine to do our own laundry.
Liesbeth is a gracious and helpful host; she thoughtfully keeps a selection of guide books and pamphlets in the apartment for guests to use during their stay.

This is a lovely studio right in the middle of 'real' Amsterdam but close to the 'tourist' Amsterdam if that is what you are after. Comfortable and clean with a lovely garden, loads of lovely restaurants and cafes nearby. We loved it!

For those who ever want to visit Amsterdam, go to this apartment. It is wonderful. Very very well located, everyting walking distance and the landlady Liesbeth is a great lady.
