Hello Van Cat friends!
Just want to learn more and more about my cat.
"Lucky" came from a unique situation.
I live in a rural New England area, lots of woods and there have been wildcats for decades living here in these woods.
I was eventually able to get to know them all.
A kitten came to me, and when we went to the vet, I saw an old poster on the wall with all cats, and there was my "Turkish Van" then I realized they all had the Van traits to some degree, but "Lucky" is 100% Pure Van!!!

Hallo Lieve Anke & Ron,

Hoe is het met jullie?
Tijd niet gesproken (helaas)maar dat komt goed.
Jullie site is echt prachtig en we kijken er regelmatig op want we zijn verliefd.
Turkse Angora's zijn gewoon de mooiste poezen die er bestaan.
Saphira (door ons Saphie de Blaffie genoemd) ligt naast me. Waar ik ga gaat zij. Ze wordt steeds mooier, liever en knuffeliger. Wanneer ik nu in mijn stoel zit(tenminste als mevrouw er niet in ligt) dan komt ze heerlijk bij me op schoot liggen. Ook wanneer ik met de laptop op schoot zit vindt zij dat ze er makkelijk bij kan. Ze is niet de kleinste poes die ik ken maar ik vind het zo grappig. Ze is nu even aan het rusten omdat ze net een vlieg na het leven zat. Hij is ontsnapt maar dat komt omdat Saphie te lief is en hem heeft laten gaan.
Ik kan doorgaan over haar maar we moeten gewoon weer eens gezellig afspreken.
