Hello!
Just bought a 1959 Opel Rekord yesterday. Body is in great condition but I am in need of trim parts, interior parts, ect. I am in the US. Does anyone know where to find parts? It doesnt seem as if there are many 59 Opel ekords here in the US to be able to readily obtain parts. Thanks all!

Proficiat, mooie en handige site, ik heb hier de vaagbaak voor mijn Rekord P1 van 1958 kunnen afprinten en ook het nederlandstalig instruktie boekje want mijn p1 is afkomstig van Luik en dat was in het frans. Verder staan er vele mooie foto's op en die zijn steeds plezierig om te bekijken.

How does a person join this website. I recently bought a 1960 Rekord. It is a survivor. It is in the USA.It has less than 49,000 miles on it. My first car was a 1959 Rekord. Driving this '60 made me feel like I was twenty again. If I can join Please let me know. I will send pictures of my car. Thanks Don

First let thank you for such a wonderfull website, I realy enjoyed the pictures and the site design.
I have a 1958 Opel P1 Coupe, its cream coloured and I have been able to restore it fairly well. I did however replace the original engine with an opel ascona (88). I am looking to further modify the vehicle to install a V-8 engine into the car. I saw on your site a few pictures of a P1 that was modified with V-8 power. Do you have the link or email address for the owner of the V-8 powered P1?
