Zit ik wat te 'googelen', uiteraard regelmatig op zoek naar nieuw materiaal van Rick, kom ik ineens op de officiële homepage van ekseption uit. Mijn hart klopt gelijk twee keer sneller. In het gastenboek als weer vertrouwde namen (Elly, Bert, Peter. Ze zijn er ook nog! Hopelijk gauw veel nieuw materiaal en op naar de concerten!

Nice to see that You are alive and kicking...

Old and stubborn critics rubbed their noses when Ekseption breaked through with a bang. But it was through Ekseption I discovered the world of classic music. It was in the beginning of the seventies, and I was about thirteen years old.
Ekseption visited Malmö Stadsteater 2 years in a row, and I saw both of your performances.
I even became an Ekseption Swedish Official Fan Club member. Many things have happened since then, many different roads among music, but the memory still stands.
Rick van der Linden, and Ekseption still
holds a place in my heart.

I DISCOVERED YOU BECAUSE I SAW IN INTERVIEW WITH RITCHIE BLACKMORE(DEEP PURPLE)WHO SAID THAT EKSEPTION WAS ONE ON HIS FAVORITE GROUP.THEN,I BOUGHT ALBUM OF EKSEPTION(BEGGAR’S JULIA….)AND I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOUR SOUND OF ORGAN AND YOUR STYLE.
AFTERI BOUGHT EVERY ALBUMS OF EKSEPTION AND TRY TO FOUND YOUR SOLO ALBUM,IT IS DIFFICULT IN QUEBEC CITY,Canada. I FOUND (GX1),(VIVACE)AND( RAINBOW)AND AN ALBUM WITH CATALIN TIRCOLEA(VARIATIONS)

For me this year a dream comes true, a new start with EKSEPTION. A group, which is my favourite since the beginning and whose concert I ve seen last time in 1978.
Rick van der Linden opened my senses and love for the HAMMOND-Organ B 3.
I wish all the best for the new start of EKSEPTION in a new timeperiod (2003 ...) and many new fans and listeners, so they can hear, what handmade music will and can move.

I'm EKSEPTION fan from Istanbul-TURKEY, since 1974.
I'm very glad to hear you again ! Ekseption comeback like Focus. ( I'm fan of Focus )
In 70's, I remember I get the Ekseption LP's from germany. ( its very difficult ) but now, in my archive; best valuable LP's are Ekseption LP's.
( Few months ago, I ordered "Beggars..." album from Amazon, but they couldn't find it ! )

Wat gaat de nieuwe Ekseption spelen tijdens de tournee in juni; Rick zal zich bezig gaan houden met Ekseption 2000, hetgeen wil zeggen dat het VIVACE-project een grote rol gaat spelen tijdens de concerten; Rick op het Johannus orgel en een nieuwe B3 hammond plus een piano voorzien van synthesizer; de gitarist zal de blazers doen vergeten en zeker zal o.a. The5Th gespeeld gaan worden.
Komende vrijdig vertrekt Rick tot 19 april naar Canada om te oefenen met de nieuwe bandleden.
