Thank-you so much for supplying the wonderful information on my Uncle Sivert Carlson. My father, Russell, greatly admired his brother and had a difficult time until this site helped to bring him peace. Many blessings to all who served.

My father, Capt. Irving Eichelbaum, U.S. Army, was a member of the 203rd Combat Enginers, landing on Omaha Beach on D-Day. He never spoke of the carnage he saw or told us very much of what he did except to say, he was involved with the beach command in operating and facilitating the landing of men and material.

He was promoted to Major before the war ended. He did tell me he was part of the Battle of the Bulge. He received a Bronze Star and medal from the French government.

He was part of the Greatest Generation, engaging in an amazing feat of FREEDOM for all the world.

I am so greatful for the information about my uncle, Albert Kuzel. I searched without success for information about him, until my sister gave me your website. With your help, I feel a closer connection to a family member I only knew through personal stories, but I was always left with questions regarding his life during WWII. Again, I thank you for your great work.

Thank you for this website. My Grandfather Edward Lee Adams was wounded in action on July 30, 1945 in Huppenbroich. He was in 311 Infantry, 78th Division, Company K. He passed away in 2002 and on his behalf I am signing this guest book in honor of all the men that he served with and all those men/heroes who died for our Country!

Terrific web-site. Keeping alive the memory of those who bravely went forth against an evil regime. Thank you.

Hai Rick,
Groet, Ben.
