MEN OPEN 720 KILOS COMPETITION
The mens 720 kilos competitions was split into two groups. In group 1, Gortletteragh from Ireland progressed to the semi finals, along with TTV Koapman from the Netherlands. Group 2 saw TTV Heure from the Netherlands progress, along with PTC from South Africa. TTV Heure progressed to the final after defeating TTV Koapman, whilst the other semi final between Gortletteragh and PTC went to three ends. Gortletteragh took the first end, but the South African team did enough on the next two ends to break them down and progress to the final. The bronze pull off saw Koapman defeat Gortletteragh by 2 ends to 0, and Heure dominated the final to win the gold medal by 2 ends to 0.
